Joined the Foxlab in January 2017

Amanda is a recently graduated Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior student with a minor in Psychology. Amanda is currently working with Dr. Fox to identify and classify neuronal cell types that are involved in fear and anxiety in mice through single-cell RNA sequencing techniques. She is interested in understanding the molecular basis of complex emotions, such as fear, in hopes that it will contribute to the development of more effective treatments for people suffering from anxiety disorders.
